The President’s Volunteer Service Award
Established in 2003, the U.S. President’s Volunteer Service Award recognizes sustained volunteer service and the positive impact individuals make in their communities. Dr. Gao’s music school has been approved as a PVSA Certifying Organization, reflecting her commitment to helping young musicians give back through their talents. Through charity performances and community outreach, students can develop compassion, leadership, and a lasting sense of responsibility to others. Meaningful, long-term service also gives students an authentic story of personal growth and contribution to share in their school and college applications.
